Urgent News- Your Government Wants to
Take Away Your Ostomy Supplies.
They want to reclassify your Ostomy Supplies as
single use medical equipment. This classification
would eliminate them for coverage by
Medicare/Medicaid.
There are two bills that have been introduced in the
U.S. House and Senate that would reclassify our
Ostomy Supplies as Medical Prosthetics. They would
then be considered replacements for parts of our
internal organs and therefore covered.
